CARES achieves JASANZ accreditation for its Australian post tensioning certification schemes

CARES is pleased to announce that CARES Certification Pty Ltd has been granted accreditation by the Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JASANZ) as a certification body for product certification activities under ISO/IEC 17065.
This accreditation is applicable to CARES’ Australian post‑tensioning certification schemes and provides independent confirmation that these schemes are operated competently, impartially, and in line with internationally recognised conformity assessment requirements.
The JASANZ accredited scope covers CARES certification activities for post‑tensioning systems in Australia in accordance with the following scheme appendices:

Quality and Operations Schedule for the Production and Supply of Prestressing Anchorages for Post‑Tensioning Systems
Appendix APT02 (February 2023)
Quality and Operations Schedule for the Production and Supply of Galvanised Metal Ducting for Use in Post‑Tensioning Systems
Appendix APT03 (February 2023)
Quality and Operations Schedule for the Production and Supply of Pre‑bagged Grout Material for Use in Post‑Tensioning Systems
Appendix APT04 (February 2023)
Quality and Operations Schedule for the Supply and Installation of Post‑Tensioning Systems in Concrete Structures (excluding highways structures)
JASANZ is the government‑recognised national accreditation body for Australia and New Zealand, responsible for accrediting certification bodies against internationally accepted standards.
Accreditation provides assurance that CARES’ post‑tensioning certification activities are supported by robust governance arrangements and are subject to regular independent oversight.
For manufacturers, suppliers, installers, asset owners, and regulators, JASANZ accreditation offers additional confidence in the integrity and reliability of CARES certification for post‑tensioning systems in the Australian construction market.
