CARES supports Borcelik in the ResponsibleSteel™ certification process

ResponsibleSteel™ is a not-for-profit multi-stakeholder membership organisation for the responsible sourcing and production of steel. ResponsibleSteel™ has developed a standard to help stakeholders by defining the fundamental elements and levels of implementation for transition pathways towards near zero emission, responsible steel production.

CARES is the world’s leading independent provider of assured certification for the steel industry and has been approved to carry out assessment and surveillance audits by ResponsibleSteel™.

Borcelik has become a ResponsibleSteel™ member in December 2021 and has recently announced that CARES has been commissioned to conduct ResponsibleSteel™ certification audits.
