ISO Publishes ISO 14001:2026

Further to our recent news article on forthcoming revisions to management system standards, ISO has now published ISO 14001:2026, with an official publication date of 30 April 2026.

ISO 14001:2026 supersedes ISO 14001:2015 and includes updates intended to reflect evolving environmental priorities, regulatory expectations and organisational risks and opportunities.

As outlined in our previous communication, CARES remains committed to supporting its clients and stakeholders throughout the transition to revised standards. We encourage all existing ISO 14001 approved companies and new applicants to obtain a copy of ISO 14001:2026 at the earliest opportunity, to familiarise themselves with the revised requirements and consider any potential implications for their management systems.
